Nick Duckworth, MRTPI, began his career in a private sector planning consultancy, Phillips Planning Services, in 1990. He left there in late 1992 and joined Hallam’s then newly established Northampton office. In 1997 Nick set up the South West office of Hallam in Bristol and became the Regional Manager. He was appointed a Director in 2002 and Managing Director in January 2016.

Jonathan Fisher joined the Henry Boot Group in 2021. He started his career in hospitality, working as a General Manager in a variety of roles for Whitbread before moving into facilities management in sales and management. Jonathan later joined the Elliott Group in 2016 as Account Director before he managed the North of the business as a Director spanning across 4 production facilities. Later Jonathan moved back into more of a commercially focused role as Elliot’s UK Sales Director, after which he joined Banner Plant as Managing Director.

Edward Hutchinson BSc (Hons), MRICS started his career in quantity surveying before quickly progressing into project management. He joined HBD in 2004 as a Project Manager rapidly rising to the position of Senior Project Manager in 2006. Edward was appointed a Director in 2012 and became Managing Director in 2018.

Tony Shaw, joined Henry Boot Construction Limited as a trainee in 1985 and with a background in production planning and project management, he has held a number of positions in the business including Regional Manager and Operations Director. Tony took over as Managing Director in July 2021.

Having obtained her academic qualifications at the Universities of Nottingham and Sheffield, Amy qualified as a solicitor in 2006. She is an experienced lawyer with a demonstrated history of working in-house in the public sector and construction industry. With a broad range of expertise across non-contentious construction matters, contract and commercial law and practice, corporate governance and compliance matters, she has worked at Henry Boot PLC since 2014.
Managing Director, Stonebridge Homes Limited
Darren Stubbs, started work at Tay Homes plc at the age of 16 and by the age of 25 he was Managing Director of his own small housebuilding company based in Leeds. Over the next 15 years he grew the business to achieve an annual turnover of £25 million. In 2010 he formed a new house builder and property company, Stonebridge Homes Limited, in a joint venture partnership with Henry Boot PLC.

Head of HR, Henry Boot PLC
Rachel White joined Henry Boot PLC in 2001 as a graduate trainee. She has held a number of roles in the HR team, before taking the role of Head of HR in July 2015. Rachel has responsibility for HR, Employee Benefits, Reward & Remuneration, Learning & Development and Payroll. Rachel is also a Trustee Director for Henry Boot Pension Trustees Limited who oversee the Henry Boot Staff Pension and Life Assurance Scheme and is a member of the Governance Committee for the Henry Boot PLC Group Stakeholder Pension Plan. Rachel leads on the development of our People Strategy to meet the requirements of our subsidiary businesses including succession planning and talent management. She also leads on Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and Employee Engagement.
